Liza: Walang isyu ang FDCP at MMDA

Inihayag ni FDCP Chairperson Liza Diño na gaganapin ang selebrasyon ng 100 years of Philippine Cinema sa New Frontier Theater, Set. 12 kung saan makikisaya ang 100 artists na tinawag na Icons sa puting tabing.
“It will be a night of celebrating Philippine cinema’s legends, icons, luminaries, and unsung heroes, with a musical and entertainment extravaganza that will highlight our journey of this hundred years. As we look back on our colorful and wonderful past, we also look forward to what lies ahead as we move towards the future of Philippine Cinema,” saad ni Ms. Diño sa ginanap na Sine Sandaan mediacon.
Inamin din niya na sobrang malaki ang gastos nila sa selebrasyon ng 100 years of Philippine Cinema kaya talagang nanghingi sila ng tulong para sa funds at nagpapasalamat siya sa Department of Tourism dahil nagbigay ang ahensiya ng P8 million.
“Sa laki po ng gastos ng FDCP sa okasyong ito, malaking tulong para sa amin ang 8M kaya nagpapasalamat kami talaga sa DOT,” aniya pa.
Ang ilan pa sa makakatuwang ng FDCP sa ikasyong ito ay ang CMB Films Services, Fashion Designers Association of the Philippines (FDAP), Araneta Group, Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines, Toronto Film School, Fire and Ice Productions, ThinkBIT Solutions, Bicol Isarog Transport System, Solar Entertainment Corporation, Sinay Maynila at marami pang iba.
Gaganapin naman ang PPP2019 awards night sa Setyembre 15 sa One Esplanade, Pasay City.
Kinlaro rin ni Ms. Liza na walang isyu sa pagitan ng FDCP at MMDA. May issue kasi na masyado raw ginagalingan ni Ms. Liza ang pag-oorganisa sa PPP para matabunan ang Metro Manila Film Festival.
“We are not thinking of anything but to make sure as the national film agency of the country under the Office of the President and the one that is really supposed to create this kind of event no less than this kind of event for our industry, I think it’s natural for us to really give the best and we are happy that we have partners that are supporting us and MMFF is part of it,” aniya pa.
