‘Julia hindi nagpapa-victim si Bea, siya talaga ang biktima!’
MAY kahabaan ang sa wakas ay reaksiyon ni Julia Barretto on two related issues in her Instagram account last Aug. 6: ang magkahiwalay na paghihiwalay nila ni Joshua Garcia, at nina Bea Alonzo at Gerald Anderson.
Allow us to strike out certain parts in Julia’s post partikular na ang sa kaso nila ni Joshua. Their breakup four months ago, ayon na rin sa pag-backtrack ng aktres, makes Joshua a “supporting actor” in this real-life drama of merry-go-round romance.
Instead, mas gusto naming tumbukin ang paninisi ni Julia kay Bea who she claimed has cultivated a culture of hate directed to her as the perceived culprit in her breakup with Gerald.
To begin with, salungat na salungat kasi ito sa stand ng kanyang lola, si Mrs. Inday Barretto, who clearly stated that her rant is not about Bea. But here’s her granddaughter saying another.
Wala raw responsibilidad si Julia na magpaliwanag sa publiko yet here’s the actress seemingly delivering her privilege speech in attacking Bea.
Nagla-like raw kasi ito sa mga comments ng ipino-post ng mga netizens when she should be the first to quell the rumors linking Julia to Gerald, and vice versa. And as a result, galit tuloy ang mga ‘yon kay Julia with the bashers having a field day endlessly expressing their collective anger.
Talaga lang, ha? Tanging si Bea lang ba ang nagla-like sa comment section? Hindi ba’t the moment Bea took to social media her cryptic post about one’s committing a mistake twice ay nag-like agad ang tiyahin niyang si Gretchen?
And what could Gretchen’s like comment mean? Hindi ba’t pagsang-ayon ‘yon sa emote ni Bea na ang halata namang pinaghuhugutan ay ang relasyon nila ni Gerald?
And what about several other celebrities na nag-like din na kampi kay Bea’t nag-e-empathize sa pinagdaraanan nito? Shouldn’t Julia get back at them as well?
Sa aminin man ni Julia o hindi, she now has to contend living with a not-so-plesant image. Yes, even before this Bea-Gerald brouhaha.
Noon pa lang na ang public perception sa kanya’y a daughter disowning her father, that alone earned her hate points in a society which greatly upholds family values. Unfortunately for Julia, the public hate towards her has spilled over.
Julia needs to find a way out, and what better way to do it kundi ang ibalik kay Bea ang sisi when she should take all the blame for it. She wants the public ire deflected, as if naman ay kay Bea magagalit ang publiko, eh, siya na nga itong ibinasura ni Gerald.
No, Julia, Bea isn’t playing the victim here. Makatotohanan namang siya ang aggrieved party. Nagkataon lang na sa bubong mo sumilong si Gerald, it could be any other actress who’d be at the receiving end.
Malas mo lang, Julia, na ikaw ang bagong tinarget ni Gerald who’s known for being a playboy anyway.
May nakita’t napansin siguro ang aktor sa iyo for him to want you as his next sweetheart.
And while luck isn’t on your side, suwerte naman ang dumarating kay Bea because she deserves every ounce of it.
In the meantime, magbunyi’t magpakasaya ka na lang, Julia, as you ought to be. Even you cannot tell how long you’ll bask in joy.
