Ika-3 PBA Rookie of the Month award nakuha ni Javee Mocon
SA ikatlong pagkakataon ngayong season ay kinilala si Rain or Shine Elasto Painters forward Javee Mocon bilang Rookie of the Month.
Si Mocon, ang sixth overall pick sa 2018 PBA Rookie Draft, ay muling nagpamalas ng mahusay na paglalaro para tulungan ang Rain or Shine na makausad sa Commissioner’s Cup semifinals kahit na ang Elasto Painters ay naging sixth-seeded team sa quarterfinals.
Sa 10 laro mula sa elimination round hanggang sa semis, si Mocon ay nag-average ng 13.5 puntos, 6.1 rebound at 3.5 assist para sa Elasto Painters.
Ang krusyal na paglalaro ng dating San Beda Red Lion ay naging malaking tulong para sa Rain or Shine na masungkit ang ikalawang sunod na semifinals berth ngayong season na naging daan para makuha niya ang parangal bilang PBA Press Corps Rookie of the Month sa buwan ng Hulyo.
Ito ang ikatlong beses na pinarangalan si Mocon bilang Rookie of the Month matapos na makuha ang parangal noong Pebrero at Abril.
