Anti-Endo bill vineto ni Pangulong Duterte

ILANG oras matapos sabihin na hindi pa pinal ang pag-veto ni Pangulong Duterte sa Anti-Endo bill o mas kilala bilang Security of Tenure bill, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na pinirmahan na nga ng presidente ang veto message kaugnay ng panukalang batas na naglalayong sanang wakasan ang kontraktuwalisasyon sa bansa.

“Security of Tenure bill vetoed by thr President,” sabi ni Panelo sa text message sa mga miyembro ng Malacanang Press Corps (MPC).

Ipinagtanggol naman ni Panelo ang pabago-bago niyang pahayag ukol sa panukala.

“No mix up. It’s all in your mind,” giit ni Panelo sa text sa mga mamamahayag.

Ilang oras bago ang kanyang kumpirmasyon kaugnay ng pinirmahang veto message ni Duterte, iginiit ni Panelo na wala pang pinipirmahan matapos kumalat ang kopya nito.

“Security of Tenure bill not yet vetoed. PRRD still studying the pros and cons. Sorry for the error. We will know tomorrow for sure,” sabi ni Panelo Huwebes ng gabi.

Bago nito, may nauna pang pahayag si Panelo na napirmahan na nga ang veto message laban sa anti-endo bill.

Sa kanyang press conference matapos ang kanyang State of the Nation Address (SONA) noong Lunes, nagpahiwatig na si Duterte na posible niyang i-veto ang panukala.
