Pangulong Duterte isinulong ang ‘midnight liquor ban’
ISINULONG ni Pangulong Duterte ang ‘midnight liquor ban’ sa buong bansa sa kanyang ika-apat na State of the Nation Address (SONA).
Sa isang press conference matapos ang kanyang talumpati sa SONA, sinabi ni Duterte na nasa kamay na ng Kongreso ang susunod na aksyon kasabay ng pag-amin na apektado rito ang mga negosyo na nagsasagawa ng operasyon sa gabi kagaya ng nightclub at bar.
“Congress will figure out on it because it will affect adversely businesses that operate during night time but for small area like Davao, parang nagustuhan na kasi ng mga tao. 12 o clock. sarado,” dagdag ni Duterte.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na wala rin siyang balak maglabas ng executive order hinggil dito.
“I was just suggesting. It’ss up to Congres to ponder on it…sleep on it… but it could improve tremendously the quality of life… stop drinking almost 11 (pm) and will go home. it could reduced income for nightclubs operating at night,” sabi pa ni Duterte.
