KRIS AQUINO

Noong nakaraang Biyernes ng gabi’y tinext namin si Kris Aquino wanting to get her reaction dahil pinalad na mapabilang sa initially four shortlisted films ang kanyang entry to this year’s MMFF.

Ang inakala naming ikatlong horror movie niya under Chito Roño’s direction (after Feng Shui and Sukob) ay ibang direktor pala ang hahawak.

In minutes, nag-reply agad si Kris, pero may ipinao-off the record siya and we’re doing just as told.

Pero noong araw ding ‘yon pala’y bumisita ang kanyang neurologist as she had severe migraine attacks.

Her follow-up text message shifted from sad to happy. Kinabukasan kasi (exactly a week ago), Kris took a short trip to Tokyo, “my happy place.”

Japan seems to have become Kris’ favorite place she frequents as though it were Divisoria para sa praktikal na mamimili on a frantic hunt for cheap yet good buys.
