TARGET ng bagong lokal na pamahalaan ng Maynila na dagdagan ang mga pulis sa university belt area matapos ang sunod-sunod na insi-dente ng krimen.
Sinabi ni Julius Leonen, hepe ng Manila Public Information Office na maraming mga estudyante ang nagpaabot ng pagkabahala sa mga kaso ng panghoholdap sa lugar.
Idinagdag ni Leonen na makikipag-ugnayan ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Maynila sa Manila Police Department para sa pagdaragdag ng pulis sa kalsada.
“We’re gonna reinforce the police presence around U-Belt area particularly by putting up more police outpost and by increasing police visibility in the area,” sabi niya.
“We’re gonna coordinate with the MPD first regarding additional police presence and visibility. One step at a time tayo,” dagdag niya.
