Mikee, Anthony totodo sa ‘Revelation’ concert

ITOTODO ng multi-talented Kapuso actress na si Mikee Quintos at ng The Clash alumnus na si Anthony Rosaldo ang kanilang powers para sa kauna-unahan nilang major concert na “Revelation” na hahataw na sa June 28, 8 p.m., sa Music Museum.

Isa na naman itong matatawag na milestone sa career ni Mikee bilang isang singer, “Expect a lot of surprises from Anthony and I. We want to push our boundaries. We’re still exploring, pero sana mag-enjoy ‘yung mga audience sa mga inihanda naming production numbers. But for sure, it’s something new from us.”

Magkahalong excitement at kaba naman ang nararamdaman ni Anthony habang papalapit na ang kanilang concert. Pero ang promise niya sa lahat ng manonood sa “Revelation” isang one-of-a-kind music experience ang ihahandog nila ni Mikee.

“Napakagaan ka-work ni Mikee. Very dedicated siya sa trabaho and makikita mo talagang passion niya ang music. Marami kaming ipakikita rito na we haven’t done on TV. Dito namin ipapamalas yung versatility namin pagdating sa pagkanta at pagsayaw,” sey ng binata.

Ano ang ginagawa nila para mawala ang kaba at pressure, may “ritual” ba sila bago sumalang sa stage? “I always talk to God. Kasi siya talaga ‘yung main reason why were doing this and siguro ‘wag kang matakot,” sagot ni Anthony.

Sey naman ni Mikee, “When I’m up there na and when I’m about to sing, I think it’s just a monologue but with a tone. Paulit-ulit ko ‘yun nilalagay sa utak ko.”

The concert promises stellar entertainment as special guests Solenn Heussaff and Aicelle Santos join Mikee and Anthony on stage. A night filled with ’90s medley, today’s chart-topping songs, OPM dance hits, and a glimpse of Broadway awaits the audience.
