Lea eeksena sa American film na ‘Yellow Rose’

NAGBABALIK-PELIKULA si Lea Salonga after 20 years na napahinga sa pag-arte for the big screen.
Pero hindi ito sa local scene kungdi sa foreign indie film na “Yellow Rose.”

Eva Noblezada na ang character ay isang country singer pero nagkaroon ng threat na ma-deport.
Sa tweet ni Lea, sinabi niya sa panayam ng ET na, “It’s a nice way to ease back into making movies again and whetted my appetite to do more film work.”
Tiyahin ni Eva ang role ni Lea na nag-migrate sa US mula sa Pilipinas at nagpakasal sa isang Amerikano and, “Had to do her own hustle to legalize her own status.”
Nagkaroon ng world premiere ang “Yellow Rose” sa Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival nitong nakaraang mga araw.
Dahil sa indie movie na ito ng award-winning theater actress, nag-landing ang ating kababayan sa Teen Vogue magazine para pag-usapan ang pelikula.
