Posibilidad ng mas malakas na lindol hindi inaalis ng Phivolcs

HINDI inaalis ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology ang posibilidad na masundan ng mas malakas na lindol ang magnitude 6.1 na naitala ngayong araw.

Ayon kay Bart Bautista, Deputy Director ng Phivolcs, mayroong mga datos na nagsasabi na ang isang malakas na lindol ay precursor lamang ng mas malakas na lindol.

Inaasahan ng Phivolcs na magkakaroon ng nasa 100 aftershock ang lindol na ito sa susunod na dalawang linggo.
Pinawi naman ng Phivolcs ang posibilidad na lumikha ng tsunami ang pagyanig na ito.
