7 pelikula napili na para sa First Cut Lab Feature ng PPP

PAGKATAPOS ianunsyo ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ang naunang tatlong pelikulang kasama sa Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino 3 ay heto at nakapili na sila ng pitong feature projects para naman sa First Cut Lab Feature na gaganapin mula Abril 11 hanggang 17.

Ang First Cut Lab ay isang international project development and editing lab na binuo upang tulungan ang filmmakers na lalong pagandahin ang kanilang film projects in development at projects na nasa post-production stage.

Narito ang mga napili sa feature projects na nasa development stage: “Dancing the Tide” na ididirek ni Xeph Suarez, produced by Roderick Cabrido and Omar Sortijas; “Everybody Leaves” ni Phyllis Grande sa produksyon ni Alemberg Ang; “Fan Girl” ni Antoinette Jadaone na ipo-produce nina Dan Villegas at Bianca Balbuena; “Purple Sun” sa direksyon ni Carlo Catu na ipo-produce nina April Batican at Bianca Balbuena.

Pasok din ang “Karaoke News” ni John Paul Su, produced by Manet Dayrit; “Thanatos” ni E. Del Mundo sa ilalim ng produksyon ni Pamela Reyes; “Babae at Baril (The Girl and the Gun)” ni Rae Red, produced by Lana Bernardez; “The Perilous Odyssey to Mount Gulsuk” ni Jordan dela Cruz under VY/AC Productions and Cinematografica.

Para naman sa Feature Projects in Post-Production, nandiyan ang “Hayop Ka! (You Son of a Bitch!)” ni Avid Liongoren, produced by Joyce Bernal, Piolo Pascual, Erickson Raymundo, and E. Del Mundo; “John Denver Trending” ni Arden Rod Condez under What If Films Philippines and Southern Lantern Pictures.

Ang dalawang documentary projects naman na tatanggapin para sa First Cut Lab Docs ay ihahayag ng FDCP sa mga susunod na araw.
