Juan Miguel “Mig” Elorde, Jerwin Ancajas at Juan Martin “Bai” Elorde.

“This will be another memorable night in boxing. The whole Elorde family is very happy to celebrate and share all the blessings we have in boxing,” sabi ni Liza Elorde, asawa ng anak ni Elorde na si Johnny at pangunahing organizer ng annual awards night na nagbibigay pugay sa dating Filipino world champion na pumanaw noong 1985.

“This is our 19th year. This is our family legacy.

“Through this award, we want to inspire upcoming boxers to become champions. “We’re honoring champions who made good the previous year. We’re also giving awards to the best promoter, best trainer, best judge, best referee, most promising boxer, best fight and citations to our benefactors and friends who are instrumental in the development of Philippine boxing,” dagdag pa ni Elorde.
