Biktima ng motorcycle-riding suspects sa NCR bumaba ng 53%

BUMABA ng 53 porsiyento ang krimen na kinasasangkutan ng mga motorcycle-riding suspects (MRS) sa Metro Manila noong 2018 kumpara noong 2017, ayon sa datos mula National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

Sinabi ng NCRPO na umabot sa 400 krimen ang naitala na sangkot ang MRS kumpara sa 853 kaso noong 2017.

Bumaba rin ang naitalang murder na sangkot ang MRS sa 50 noong 2018 mula sa 338 noong 2017.

Nabawasan din ang kaso ng homicide sa walo mula sa 24 kaso noong 2018, samantalang nakapagtala ng 186 kaso ng robbery noong 2018 mula sa 224 noong 2017.

Sinabi ni NCRPO chief Director Guillermo Eleazar na ang pagbaba ng kaso ay dahil na rin sa pinaigting na checkpoint ng mga pulis.

“Ang gunman almost 360 degrees talaga ang reach niyan,” sabi ni Eleazar, sa pagsasabing karaniwan ding naka-helmet ang mga suspek para hindi makilala.
