MULING maengganyo ang mga bata na lumahok sa sports ang hangad ng Milo Philippines sa paglulunsad nito ng 2019 Milo Summer Sports Clinic.

“We look forward to nurture more children to be champions not just as athletes but also as individuals,” sabi ni Milo sports executive Luigi Pumaren Huwebes sa ginanap na media launch Huwebes sa Kidzania Manila sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.

“We encourage parents to introduce their kids to a fun, active and healthy lifestyle,” sabi pa nito.

Hindi katulad ng mga naunang edisyon na ginaganap lang sa Luzon, ang taunang summer sports program ay isasagawa na rin sa Visayas at Mindanao sa unang pagkakataon.

Ang mga clinic na suportado ng Department of Education, Philippine Olympic Committee at Philippine Sportswriters Association ay katatampukan ngayong taon ng 19 sports na bukas para sa mahigit 30,000 bata at bubuksan sa huling linggo ng Marso sa mahigit 700 venue sa buong bansa.

Ang mga bagong sport na sasalang ay ang arnis, ultimate frisbee at wushu na makakasabay na rin ang mga regular sport na badminton, basketball, chess, fencing, football, futsal, golf, gymnastics, karatedo, lawn tennis, parkour, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, touch rugby at volleyball na ang mga programa ay pamamahalaan ng mga mahuhusay na coach at instructor na nagwagi sa mga local at international tournament.

Kabilang naman sa mga atletang nanggaling sa Milo Summer Sports Clinics ay sina dating PBA player Chris Tiu, taekwondo star Japoy Lizardo at SEA Games gold medalist gymnast Kaitlyn de Guzman.
