WITHOUT a scintilla of doubt, upbringing has a lot to do sa kung ano ang kalalakhan ng isang anak.
Born to Art Atayde and Jo Campo (popularly known as Sylvia Sanchez), hindi kataka-taka kung lumaki mang matitino, marespeto at values-oriented ang kanilang celebrity kids na sina Arjo at Ria.
Of late, paboritong i-bash ng mga mababaw-at-malabnaw-ang-utak na netizens ang magkapatid most especially Arjo na anila’y ginagamit si Maine Mendoza to gain publicity mileage, kasabay ng pagkakaroon ng career out of TV or film assignments.
In fairness to Maine, matapang niyang hinarap ang kanyang fans (kahit alam niyang magagalit sa kanya ang ilan dito) para ipagtanggol ang kanyang manliligaw at agad kinlaro that the Atayde siblings need not resort to taking advantage of her.
Kailan at paano?
Maaaring climbing the popular ladder sa parte ni Arjo became easy dahil anak nga siya ni Sylvia, but Arjo did not just rely on his mom’s status or career achievements.
On his own ay nag-struggle siya, and his hard work paid off. This may also be said of Ria who worked her butt to earn a name for herself.
Sana man lang kung mga newbies lang ang magkapatid, using other people to gain leverage would be a wise (?) career scheme.
