COTABATO CITY — Tinatayang 66 guro ang hindi sumipot sa pagbubukas ng mga presinto sa Cotabato City para sa plebisito ng Bangsamoro Organic Law dahilan para maantala ang nasabing halalan.
Ayon kay Commission on Elections Regional Director for the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao Rey Sumalipao, 66 guro ang hindi nagsidating para magsilbi sa anim na barangay sa Cotabato City dahil sa banta sa kanilang buhay.
“There were threats according to them but somehow our police and military are ready to secure them,” ayon kay Sumalipao. Anya, naayos din ang gulo nang makapag-assign sila ng mga susbtitutes mula sa police force.
“We assure the people anytime our substitutes will arrive and they can start the voting,” ani Sumalipao.
