Catriona takot na takot sumali sa Miss U; relate na relate sa ‘The Greatest Showman’
NGAYON pa lang nagsi-sink in kay Catriona Gray ang pagiging Miss Universe.
Matapos ang ginanap na media tour sa Amerika kung saan siya naka-base ngayon para gampanan ang kanyang trabaho bilang 2018 Miss Universe, nararamdaman na ngayon ni Catriona ang pagiging winner.
“It’s starting to really sink in now that I’m Miss Universe,” aniya.
Magkasunod ang naging guesting ng dalaga sa dalawang sikat na talk show sa Hollywood – ang Good Morning America at Live With Kelly And Ryan.
“All the interviews were very warm. Everyone has been welcoming, telling me where to visit in New York. It’s just amazing,” chika ni Catriona sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.
Pahayag pa ng Filipina beauty queen, “It takes a lot of courage to put yourself out in the public eye like that because, of course, pageantry in the Philippines, everyone likes to take part. Everyone likes to throw their opinion at you. Everyone likes to put their definition of how far you go or how well you do.”
Pero dahil sa mga taong nagtiwala at naniwala sa kanya, ipinagpatuloy niya ang laban, and the rest as they say – is history.
Natanong din si Cat kung sa anong kanta niya maikukumpara ang naging journey niya, aniya sa “This Is Me” mula sa musical film na “The Greatest Showman.”
“I was scared to join (Miss Universe) again. I really was. I was scared to foray into that journey. Whenever anyone pursues that dream, there is that fear, there is that hesitance of, ‘Am I doing the right thing? Should I be here? Is this my time?’
“The message of ‘This Is Me’ is, ‘This is everything that I am, this is what I believe in, this is my dream, I’m going to go after it no matter what anyone says,” paliwanag pa niya.
