NIYANIG ng magnitude 4.7 lindol ang Negros Oriental ngayong araw.Ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology naramdaman ang lindol ala-1:10 ng hapon.
Ang epicenter nito ay 19 kilometro sa kanluran ng Pampalona.
May lalim itong 12 kilometro at sanhi ng paggalaw ng tectonic plate sa lugar.
Naramdaman ang Intensity III paggalaw sa bayan ng Sibulan.
Intensity I naman sa Dumaguete City at La Carlota City.
