Davao court ipinag-utos ang pag-aresto kay Trillanes
IPINAG-UTOS ng Davao City Regional Trial Court Branch 54 ang pag-aresto kay Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV kaugnay ng libel na inihain laban sa kanya ni presidential son at dating Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte.
Dinidinig ang libel laban kay Trillanes sa sala ni Judge Melinda Alconcel-Dayanghirang, ng Davao RTC Branch 150.
Kinumpirma ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang arrest warrant laban kay Trillanes.
“We confirm that arrest warrants were issued in relation to the libel cases filed against Senator Trillanes,” sabi ni DOJ spokesperson Undersecretary Mark Perete.
Noong Setyembre, naghain si Duterte sa dalawang kaso ng libel laban kay Trillanes: matapos namang niyang akusahan ang una na nangikil umano ng pera mula sa Uber at iba pang kompanya at matapos siyang iugnay sa P6.4 bilyong halaga ng shabu mula China noong Mayo noong isang taon.
Itinakda ng korte ang piyansa sa P24,000.
