Cherie Gil bad trip pag tinatawag na tita, ayaw ding pabeso

ALING Cherie Gil’s Actor’s Etiquette for newcomers was met with sarcasm by some netizens.

Having read her piece, maski kami ay may gulat factor sa hanash niya. She must have felt entitled kaya naman naglabas siya ng ilang aria against neophytes in showbiz. One of her arias which surprised us is when she said she doesn’t want to be called “tita” because they’re not blood-related. She also hates tardiness.

She doesn’t want to be called “tita” but Aling Cherie did not mention how she wanted to be called. Isn’t that ridiculous?

Parang pinalalabas niya na there was no instance in her showbiz career that she called one senior star “tita”. She was also cruising the line of professionalism by her I’m-never-late-in-my-entire-showbiz career and I-never-made-senior actors-wait-for-me-during-my-early-days-as-an-actress projection.
Ikaw na ang perfect, Aling Cherie!

Not surprisingly, some netizens find Aling Cherie’s aria quite ridiculous.

“Bawal daw syang tawagin na TITA. Sorry naman MADAM kase dapat! Ok lang naman if she has certain rules pero parang masyado naman ata pa entitled c Madam. Nung kabataan ba nya ginawa nya din LAHAT ng pinagsusulat nya? At si Andi Eigenmann ba naturuan nya ng etiquette nya?”

“Yung never call her tita and never kiss me parang OA naman ata. Kesa naman di sya irespeto? Kung about professionalism sana sa work ang ipinost nya mas ok pa.”

“Grabe! Nakatakot naman kung unang sabak si Cherie ang co star mo. Parang hindi ka pwedeng gumalaw at may makikitang mali sayo. Di ba beso sa Pinas normal yun. Calling her tita lalo na kung mas bata ang co stars normal din yun.”

“Feeling. Masyado syang ‘pasenior ako’ lagi. Kung may reklamo sya derechahin nya yung artista. Hindi yung puro shade keme na ganyan.”

One guy came to the defense of Aling Cherie and said, “Cherie Gil really hit the nail. Tama yun mga sinulat niya. We should not just call anybody tita or tito, mommy or daddy, it is very rude.”

We’re inspired by Cherie Gil that we are asking you to allow us to post our very own Actor’s Etiquette during interviews.

When the question is answerable by yes or no, answer it with either a yes or a no, no in between.

Don’t lie, it makes you an idiot. Some celebrities initially deny they’re pregnant only to give birth months after. Some deny their relationships and admit it later when they hit Splitsville.

When faced with a controversy, face it. Issue an official statement.

Stop tinkering your cellphones during interviews. Not only does it show disrespect, it also shows how you were raised by your moms.
