Jeepney fare
IPINAG-UTOS ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board ang rollback sa minimum na pasahe sa mga pampasaherong jeepney sa National Capital Region, Region 3 at 4.
Ibabalik sa P9 ang P10 minimum na pasahe o ang bayad sa unang apat na kilometro ng biyahe.
Hindi na rin kailangan pa ng bagong fare matrix upang maipatupad ang rollback at magiging epektibo kaagad kapag nailathala sa pahayagan.
“….. the Board hereby resolves, as it is hereby resolved to Order a provisional rollback of PUJ Minimum fare to P9 for the first 4 kilometers for Regions 3, 4 and NCR,” saad ng resolusyon. “Finally, the Resolution shall take effect immediately upon publication in a newspaper of general and/or local circulation.”
Noong Oktobre 18 inaprubahan ng LTFRB ang pagtataas ng minimum fare sa P10.
Gagawa rin ang LTFRB ng formula upang hindi na kailanganin na maghain ng petisyon upang itaas o ibaba ang pamasahe.
“Meanwhile, as directed by DoTr Sec. Arthur Tugade, the Board resolved to come up with a formula that shall pre-determine fare rates adjustment as set by economic indicators such as world market price of crude oil, financial viability of the public transport system, among others,” saad ng Board resolution ng LTFRB.
