Pia, Catriona nagsanib-pwersa laban sa HIV/AIDS
CATRIONA GRAY AT PIA WURTZBACH
Nagsanib-pwersa na sina 2018 Miss Universe Philippines Catriona Gray at 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach para sa HIV Awareness campaign.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na nag-collaborate ang dalawang beauty queen para sa kampanya laban sa AIDS. Isa si Pia sa mga kilalang celebrities na ang pangunahing adbokasiya ay ang HIV Awareness campaign. At para mas mapalakas pa ang proyektong ito, nakipagtulungan na rin sa kanya si Catriona Gray.
“It’s really alarming. Having high statistics can be very scary. Having a 140 percent increase here in the Philippines alone, while other South East Asian countries have a decrease with the new HIV cases,” ani Catriona na handang-handa na rin sa paglaban niya sa grand coronation night ng Miss Universe sa Bangkok, Thailand sa Dec. 17.
