‘Spa benefits’ sa stressed employees

Alan Tanjusay - November 20, 2018 - 12:15 AM

BECAUSE of the growing many causes of stress confronting our employees in the workplace, pinu-push ngayon ng isang labor group sa Employment Compensation Commission na baka pwedeng isama sa kanilang employees benefits ang full and complete “spa” benefits for all workers na miyembro ng Social Security System (SSS).
Stress kung stress caused by your job description, your boss and co-employees.
Tapos andiyan din ang stress dulot naman ng family duties and responsibilities. Ganun din ang pag-uwi, stressful din.
Ano pa?!
Stress is one of the leading causes of lower productivity in the workplace. If not destressed, it would lead to serious mental and physical imbalances and instability.

Ang ECC ay isang government agency na nagbibigay ng insurance sa mga manggagawang naaksidente, nagkasakit in the course of performing their jobs. Kabilang sa serbisyo nila ay ang rehabilitation.

Dahil sa under-utilized ang pondo ng ECC, it was proposed na baka pwedeng i-expand pa ang mga benepisyo sa mga members aside from job-related injury including destressing benefits, at halimbawa na rito ang complete spa treatment at iba pang similar na wellness schemes.

Isa ito sa napag-usapan a few days ago sa pag-uusap ng labor groups, employers at ECC and DOLE in reviewing and imoroving employment injury compensation.

So if you have suggestions on other schemes that we would like ECC to provide as part of their mandate to help the members, please let me know so I can suggest to ECC.
