Ayon kay 1PACMAN Rep. Mikee Romero mas epektibo ang paggamit ng buhok sa drug testing dahil matutukoy umano dito ang kahit matagal ng tumigil sa paggamit ng ipinagbabawal na gamot ang isang tao.
“Hair sample testing for drugs will reveal long-term, habitual illegal drugs use. That is its compelling value and advantage versus urine sample testing,” ani Romero.
Sinuportahan ni Romero ang Executive Order 66 o ang Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy na naglalayong palakasin ang kasalukuyang kampanya ng gobyerno laban sa ipinagbabawal na gamot.
