“It’s really directed at Vice President Robredo because she is in the opposition. So the administration really has to take her out of the equation in that transitory provision for succession before the supposed draft Charter takes effect in 2022,” ani Villarin.

“An electoral protest is a protest and wala pang final decision on that and it might be taken over by events and yung events na iyon doon siguro sila takot,” ani Villarin. “ Of course the problem now is the health condition of the President, which is again inamin naman ng Presidente.”

Francis Escudero.

“The President has always been saying that he does not like Vice President Robredo to succeed him. He’d rather have a military junta and we was egging the generals to take over. So given this context, talagang sinasadya itong provision na ito.”
