Alex Brosas - September 17, 2018 - 12:40 AM

WATCHED the concert of Debbie Gibson and Tiffany at the MOA Arena last weekend.

Tiffany’s performance is okay. Although she is now on the plump side, nandoon pa rin ang timbre ng boses niya. Actually, she has matured as a singer. Mas may texture ang kanyang voice. Bigay na bigay ang kanyang performance.

Sa concert ay mas nauna siyang nag-perform. At tama naman ang ganoong sequence.

Why? She was a big letdown.

Parang pinitpit na lata ang kanyang boses. And you can tell na hirap siyang i-reach ang high notes ng kanyang kanta. Nakakaloka talaga siya.

Watching her perform is dusa sa audience kasi sila ang mas nahihirapan. And she looks like parang bordering on anorexic na.

Man And Wife,” starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Gabby Concepcion although the movie is based from the characters of Loida Virina’s version of Lina Flor’s Gulong ng Palad.

“When it was offered to me, it was understood that hindi remake ng Gulong ng Palad.

“Sabi ko, if we borrow from the material, I would be interes-ted kasi ‘di ba ang istorya noon is mahirap si Luisa, mayaman si Carding at parang ayaw sa kanya ni Menang.

So parang sequel pero it’s more of a story na after ten years ano na sila. Dati nagmamahalan sila, against all odds sila,” dagdag pa niya.

We asked her if it is a millennial Gulong ng Palad.

“I don’t know if you’d call it millennial but I am just hoping it would appeal to me and my daughter’s generation. People that you know, they come back after ten years at hindi na masyadong maapoy ang kanilang pagmamahalan,” she said.
