Meralco
BABABA ang singil ng Manila Electric Company ngayong buwan dahil sa mas murang generation charge.
Ayon sa Meralco bababa ng P0.1458 kada kiloWatt hour ang singil nito. Ito ay nangangahulugan ng pagbaba ng P29 sa bawat 200kWh na konsumo.
Mula sa P10.2190 kada kWh ay bababa ang singil sa P10.0732.
“We are pleased to announce that despite the recent figures released on inflation and a slight depreciation of the Peso, Meralco customers can find some relief in the decrease of power rates this month, as this goes against the current trend that we see with other basic goods and commodities,” ani Joe Zaldariaga, spokesperson at Head of Public Information Office ng Meralco.
Bumaba sa P5.3491/kWh ang generation charge mula sa P5.2719/kWh sa kuryente na ibinebenta sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market.
Ang ibinaba sa WESM ay tumapyas sa P0.6112/kWh na pagtaas sa Power Supply Agreement at P0.3287/kWh sa Independent Power Producers.
Tumaas ang PSA at IPP dahil sa pagmahal ng presyo ng produktong petrolyo at pagbaba ng halaga ng piso kontra dolyar.
Bumaba rin ang generation charge sa mga residential consumer ng P0.0292/ kWh at ang buwis ng P0.0394/kWh.
