Cesar Montano sinita sa mahal na biyahe

SINITA ng Commission in Audit ang mga biyahe ni Cesar Montano noong ito ay chief operating officer ng Tourism Promotions Board, kabilang ang pagsakay nya ng business class.

 

Sinita rin ng COA ang mga multi-milyong sponsorship sa mga concert at advertising contract ng TPB.

 

Sa 2017 audit report, bumiyahe umano si Montano ng 14 na beses na may habang 91 na araw na ginastusan ng P2.277 milyong pondo ng gobyerno. Ang kanyang Deputy Chief Operating Officer ay bumiyahe naman ng 16 beses na may habang 113 araw na ginastusan ng P1.958 milyon.

 

Madalas din umanong kasama ni Montano ang kanyang private secretary at executive assistant na gumastos ng P2.995 milyon.

 

Sumakay din umano si Montano ng business class flight sa dalawang pagkakataon. Nagkakahalaga ito ng P594,000.

 

Ayon sa COA dapat ay maghanap ang TPB ng paraan upang mabawasan ang gastos nito.

 

Si Montano ay nagbitiw matapos pumutok ang Buhay Carinderia contract.

 

Kinuwestyon din ng COA ang P11.2 milyong Fusion 2017: Forward, the Philippine Music Festival Year 3” concert na inaprubahan ni Montano na hindi inaprubahan ng TPB Board of Directors.

Wala rin umanong kinalaman sa promosyon ng turismo ang Make Your Move for Marawi Let’s Go Dance Competition, Musiko 2017, Mother’s Day Fun Run: Takbo Para sa Ilaw ng Tahanan, Padyak Palawan, 4th Musica Sacra at US Independence Day Charity Golf Tournament na ginastusan ng P7 milyon.
