MAY bagong banat si Pangulong Duterte matapos namang maghamon na magbibitiw siya sa pwesto sakaling merong makapagpa-selfie sa Diyos.
“But if there is somebody of the so many billions, maybe if he can go there in heaven, talk to God, and magpa-selfie sila, at bumalik siya dito, at sabihin ng pari, ‘There is God,’ I will step down tomorrow. No question,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa inagurasyon ng Malayan Colleges Mindanao sa Davao City.
Matatandaang tinawag ni Duterte na “stupid” ang Diyos.
“You know, I have this deep and abiding faith in God. But my God, my concept of God is not — sa values ko sa buhay. The lessons I learned in life, the hard ways and ‘yung — your capacity to seek someone who has — somewhere a universal mind,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
“But I do not think of my God as a God that is applicable dito. Otherwise there would be no widespread injustice: hunger, killings, and all. And kaya sabi ko nga wala — huwag kayo magalit mga pari,” ayon pa kay Duterte.
