Tourism chief sinuspinde ang ‘Buhay Carinderia’ project ni Cesar Montano

IPINAG-UTOS ni Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat ang suspensyon ng programang “Buhay Carinderia” ng aktor at Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) chief operating officer na si Cesar Montano.
Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni Romulo-Puyat na ipinaalam na niya kay Montano na ititigil na ng gobyerno ang programa niya na tumanggap ng P80 milyong pondo mula sa ahensiya sa loob lamang ng wala pang isang buwan.
Iginiit naman ni Romulo-Puyat na naging maayos naman ang pag-uusap nila ni Montano sa harap ng alegasyon ng iregularidad sa programang “Buhay Carinderia”.
“For me, if there’s no bidding, we should stop the project. It’s better if the project underwent bidding process. I told Mr. Montano, to be fair, he agreed to stop all projects,” dagdag ni Romulo-Puyat.
