IKINATUWA ng Palasyo ang pagkakasama ni Pangulong Duterte sa listahan ng Forbes magazine bilang World’s Most Powerful People para sa 2018 matapos namang mapuntacsa ika-69 ranggo.

“President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has many times acknowledged that the true source of power is the people,” sabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Base sa listahan ng Forbes magazine ng mga “most powerful people in the world para sa 2018, nasa ika-69 na puwesto si Duterte ngayong mula sa ika-70 puwesto noong 2017.

“As Chief Executive for almost two years, he has faithfully served our people by promoting the interests of the Filipino people and the Filipino nation first,” ayon pa kay Roque.
Binanggit ng Forbes na nagresulta ang gera ni Duterte kontra kriminalidad sa pagkamatay ng libo-libong katao sa buong bansa.

“Duterte’s raw and vulgar vocabulary keeps him in the headlines: he called Obama ‘son of a whore’ and has used homophobic slurs to describe opponents,” sabi ni Forbes.

“The anti-drug war, the pursuit of independent foreign policy, the pro-poor policies and programs of the Duterte administration among others are reflective of the current government’s advancing the welfare of the greatest number of our countrymen,” ayon pa kay Roque.
“The Presidency, in the mind of PRRD, begins and ends with public trust where real power emanates,” sabi pa Roque.
