SINABI ng Grab Philippines na wini-welcome nito ang akreditasyon ng limang bagong transport network vehicle services (TNVS) sa bansa, sa pagsasabing matitiyak nito ang mas mabilis na pagbu-book ng mga pasahero.
“We’ve always been open to competition. I mean, we welcome competition in any industry,” sabi ni Cindy Toh, Grab country marketing head.
Inilunsad naman ng Grab ang 100-day initiative plan, naglalayong magkapagbigay ng mas maayos na serbisyo para sa mga pasahero at mabawasan ang kanselasyon ng booking ng mga driver.
“The only thing right now we’re looking at is how it actually impacts supply,” paliwanag ni Toh.
Ibinunyag ni Toh na maaring umabot hanggang 600,000 ang mga booking araw-araw, kumpara sa 35,000 sasakyang nagseserbisyo.
“So the possible impact of that – with all the new players – is splitting the supply base,” ayon pa kay Toh.
