Good Day po, entitled po ba ako sa separation pay gayong na end of contract na ako?
Nagtrabaho po ako sa isang company mahigit sa dalawang taon po. Kasi akala ko po wala ng end of contract ngayon, tapos po naging probationary po ako na umabot sa dalawang taon, noong September 2017 nilipat ako sa isang posisyon tapos nitong February sinabihan ako na e-end of contract na raw nila ako dahil in-evaluate nila ako tapos failed daw yung result.
Please help me po nilipat lang ako sa isang posisyon para ibagsak sa separation pay.

REPLY: Must be paid when the termination is based on the authorized causes except when the closure of the company is due to financial losses. Employment may be terminated for the following authorized causes under the Labor Code:
1. Introduction of labor-saving devices
2. Redundancy
3. Retrenchment
4. Closure or Cessation of business
5. Disease the employee found to be suffering and whose continued employment is prohibited by law or is prejudicial to his health as well as the health of his co-employees.
