XIAN LIM

Xian Lim is back as the voice behind a bear in “Paddington 2.”

He first lent his voice to the lead character more than three years ago. So, does this bring back the child in him?

“I think getting into Paddington’s character, kailangan ‘yun, eh, ‘yung bringing the inner child (in you).

Dito sa second movie kulitan talaga. Sa journey niya ay maraming mangyayari so I hope mabigyan nila ito ng chance because they just wanna have fun. Ito ‘yung pelikula para sa kanila,” say ng aktor.

When asked what was the most challenging part, Xian said, “Ang pinaka-challenging is kapag nagsasalita ang mga British people they have an expression. Hindi siya usual na sinasabi. Doon medyo naging challenging. Inulit-ulit namin and it took us more than 10 hours to record. May mga sigawan.

Iba ‘yung experience this time around kasi more kulitan talaga.”

Surprisingly, may Pinoy values ang movie according to the actor.

“Yes! Magugulat kayo. The movie can cater to a lot of Filipinos. Parang sa mga Tagalog films natin ay nandiyan ‘yung family values. ‘Yung core ng Paddington is all about family and getting to know yourself so makaka-relate talaga ang mga Pilipino dahil ganoon tayo, eh.”
