Patuloy na binabantayan ng Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration ang low pressure area na inaasahang magiging bagyo bago mag-land fall.
Kung hindi magbabago ng bilis at direksyon inaasahan na magla-landfall ang bagyo sa Caraga area kagabi o ngayong umaga.
Tatawagin itong bagyong Agaton.
Kahapon ang LPA ay nasa layong 385 kilometro sa silangan-timog silangan ng Surigao City.
“This weather system will bring cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol region, Visayas and Mindanao particularly in the regions of Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao,” saad ng PAGASA sa advisory nito.
