Una itong na-publish ng University of the Philippines Press bilang nobela noong 2002 at nagkaroon ng expanded edition na pang-international ng New York based publisher Soho Press.

“The American journalist James Fallows calls it a ‘damaged culture.’ We never really confronted our issues, we just simply repeat a cycle of violence and denial,” pahayag ni Martin.

Star-studded din ang movie na binigyan ng Grade A ng Cinema Evaluation Board sa pangunguna nina Christopher de Leon, Nonie Buencamino, Sid Lucero, Bembol Roco, TJ Trinidad, Ricky Davao at Carla Humphries.
