Bato nangakong susundin ang payo ni Lacson na magpokus sa PNP

NANGAKO si Philippine National Police Chief Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa na susundin niya ang payo ng dating boss at “idol” na si dating Sen. Panfilo Lacson, na pagtuunan na lamang ng pansin ang problema ng PNP at limitahan ang pagpunta sa mga gimik at sosyalan sa harap ng kontribersiya kinakaharap ng pulisya, kasama na ang pagpatay ng mga pulis sa South Korean businessman na si Jee Ick-joo sa loob ng Camp Crame.

“Susundin ko yung kanyang advice. He’s my idol kaya susundin ko,” sabi ni dela Rosa sa isang press conference.
Binatikos si dela Rosa ni Lacson sa paraan kung paano niya hawakan ang mga kontrobersiyang kinakaharap ng PNP.
Dating boss ni dela Rosa si Lacson sa Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF), nang PNP chief pa ang huli.
Inulan si dela Rosa ng mga panawagan na siya ay magbitiw na matapos masangkot ang mga pulis sa pagpatay kay Jee sa loob mismo ng Camp Crame headquarters noong Oktubre 18.
Sa kabila naman ng mga batikos, nakita pa rin si dela Rosa na dumadalo sa concert ng American singer na si Bryan Adams.

“He is missing the point entirely. Will you go to a concert if your house is burning? Even if your house was burned down to the ground, can I do something about it? Will I be able to build it back if I don’t watch a concert? That is not the point. The point is, there is a situation. There is a crisis that needs you to stand up where you are, even if the concert was really good and you leave it, to attend to the problem. Because you have a problem in your house,” sabi ni Lacson.
