PAPALAYO na ng bansa ang dalawang tropical cyclone na nasa labas ng hangganan ng Pilipinas, ayon sa state weather bureau kahapon ng tanghali.
Sinabi ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) na gumagalaw ng mabagal pa-hilagang silangan ang bagyong Meari, na namataan 1,780 kilometro silangan ng Central Luzon.
“These tropical cyclones are outside the Philippine area of responsibility, slowly moving away from PAR and have no direct effect in any parts of our country,” sabi ng Pagasa.
Samantala, magdudulot naman ng mga pag-ulan ang low pressure area malapit sa Palapag, Northern Samar at ang intertropical convergence zone sa Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal at Quezon), Bicol region, western at eastern Viisayas, Mindoro, Marinduque at Romblon.
Nagbabala rin ang Pagasa sa posibleng mga landslide.
Magiging maulap naman at makakaranas ng mula sa mahina at katamtamang pag-ulan sa Metro Manila, Palawan, Mindanao at ang natitirang bahagi ng Visayas.
