PSL-F2 Logistics Manila binigo ng Hisamitsu Springs Kobe

NAHULOG na lamang sa labanan para sa ikapitong puwesto ang PSL-F2 Logistics Manila matapos itong mabigo sa Hisamitsu Springs Kobe ng Japan sa loob lamang ng tatlong set, 15-25, 18-25 at 21-25, sa ginanap na 2016 FIVB Women’s Club World Championships sa Mall of Asia Arena sa Pasay City.

Ang kabiguan ay ikaapat na sunod ng mga Pinay sa dekalidad na torneo kung saan tanging nagawa lamang nito na manalo ng isang set kontra sa nagtatanggol na kampeon na Ecsazibaci Vitra Istanbul.

“We watch their (PSL F2 Logistics Manila) games against the defending champion, and we see they are good in service so we focus on that. We also know that we will be up against the crowd so we try not to be disrupted by the fans,” sabi lamang ni Hisamitsu coach Ms. Kumi Nakada sa laban na pinanood ng mahigit sa 2,000 tagasuporta.

Makakaharap ng mga Pinay ang karibal na Bangkok Glass ng Thailand, na nabigo rin sa loob ng tatlong set kontra Rexona Sesc Rio ng Brazil, 19-25, 15, 20-25.

Nanguna para sa Pilipinas si Lindsay Stalzer namay 15 puntos, kasunod si Stephanie Niemer na may pitong puntos at si Yevgeniya Nyukhalova na may anim na puntos.
