Aguirre balak gawing testigo ang big time drug lord na si Kerwin Espinosa
SINABI ni Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II na kinukonsidera niyang kunin ang big time drug lord na si Rolando “Kerwin” Espinosa Jr. bilang testigo laban kay Sen. Leila De Lima.
“If he passes the assessment of the Witness Protection Program ( WPP), then we are going to offer immunity to Kerwin,” sabi ni Aguirre sa isang press conference.
Naaresto si Espinosa sa Abu Dhabi matapos ang ilang buwang pagtatago.
Kabilang sina Espinosa Jr., de Lima sa mga kinasuhan ni Albuera police chief Juvie Espinido.
Sa kanyang reklamo, sinabi ni Espinido na tumanggap umano si de Lima ng pera mula kay Espinosa.
“Just like in the case of Senator Lacson [referring to the Dacer-Corbito case], it was De Lima herself who prosecuted the case and who appealed the case before the Court of Appeals that dismissed the case…meaning to say that particular case, not being an anti-graft case, the DOJ and the RTC (Regional Trial Court) has primary jurisdiction,” sabi ni Aguirre.
“We will study that very well,” dagdag ni Aguirre.
