Duterte nagpaliwanag kung bakit kailangan pang ungkatin ang relasyon ni De Lima sa kanyang driver

NAGPALIWANAG kahapon si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte matapos namang umani ng mga puna at kritisismo maging mula sa kanyang mga kamag-anak ang pagsiwalat sa relasyon ni Sen. Leila De Lima sa kanyang driver.

“You know, some of my relatives yung mga babae, the women, they are asking me even from the States — they are residents of the United States: ‘Why did you have to include the relationship between De Lima and the driver?” kwento ni Duterte sa kanyang press conference ala-1 ng umaga kahapon sa Davao City.

Iginiit ni Duterte na kung hindi niya babanggitin ang pakikipagrelasyon ni De Lima sa driver-bodyguard nito na si Ronnie Dayan ay hindi mapag-uusapan ang isyu.

“Because what is really very crucial there is the fact that because of that relationship with her driver, which I termed immoral because the driver has a family and wife, gave rise — that connection gave rise to the corruption of what was happening inside the national penitentiary,” dagdag ni Duterte.

Kasabay nito, hinamon pa ni Duterte si De Lima na ituloy ang imbestigasyon ng Senado kaugnay ng mga extra judicial killings.

“We are now waiting for the House of Representatives or also — which is also conducting its own inquiry, I urge De Lima to proceed with the investigation,” dagdag ni Duterte.

Nagpahiwatig din si Duterte na muling uungkatin ang kaso ng tinaguriang reyna ng pork barrel na si Janet Napoles na hinawakan noon ni De Lima matapos namang sampahan ng plunder ang mga sangkot sa pork barrel scam.

Matatandaang bukod sa kanyang ka-live in ngayon, inamin mismo ni Duterte na meron pa siyang dalawang babaeng karelasyon.
