That’s how we can summarize the Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach-Jessy Mendiola brouhaha. Jessy was full of confidence when she said, “Talo ko pa si Pia Wurtzbach ‘di ba? Sobrang overwhelming. Kung siya (Pia) confidently beautiful with a heart, tayo confidently sexy with a heart.”

That’s a very third-world aria, ha!!! “What I saw was a girl who was just really ecstatic to be given that recognition. Nothing wrong with that. Congratulations Jessy.”

That how classy Pia reacted on Jessy’s walang-kapantay-na-kayaba-ngang-sagot. That said, we felt there is enormous reasons why Jessy is being bashed. She’s being bashed for her brazen display of her kayaba-ngan.

Luis Manzano’s rumored girlfriend is being bashed by Pia’s fans because she didn’t mince her words. She’s being bashed because her articulation that she’s better than Pia is nothing but a FLAT LIE.

Since when has been winning FHM’s Sexiest Pinay title better than winning the Miss Universe crown. Tell me, is FHM more popular than Miss Universe? Hindi naman, ‘di ba? One more thing, being the country’s sexiest does not give you the entitlement to belittle, whether in a joke or not, world class beauty queens who went through a lot.

Jessy must rea-lize that she won by online votes while Pia went through rigorous process of selection. Compared to the Sexiest Pinay title na sa Pilipinas lang naman nakuha, a Miss Universe title is way, way better.

In the collective memories of people, no one would ever remember Jessy being Pinay’s Sexiest Woman. What they would remember is Pia being the third world-class Pinay who won the Miss Universe title, a feat that Jessy will never, no, not even in her dreams, achieve!!!
