Sigaw ng bashers: Marian may kakambal na kamalasan

REACTING on July 19 episode where Ang Probinsiyano got 44.2% while Encantadia earned a rating of 19.6%, one Twitter handler can help but blame Marian Something for the poor rating of GMA 7’s fantaserye.

“The Marianita Rivera effect aka the kiss of death aka the jinx queen,” wailed Twitter handler @dudeinterrupted. “Marianita Rivera is the kiss of death personified. Everything she touches turns to shi***. She is indeed, malas,” he added.

Since last year pa ay parang may sumpa kay Marian. Wala siyang top rating show. Her last soap was a big flop, considering na siya pa naman ang Primetime Queen ng Siyete. Her latest morning show was also a big disappointment sa ratings game. Wala siyang binatbat sa katapat na show ng Dos.

Now, here comes the fantaserye which casts GMA-7’s biggest conglomeration of starlets. Ang akala ng marami ay makakatulong sa ratings ang presensiya ni Marianita, but sorry to burst your bubbles, it didn’t help any. Patuloy na inginungudngod ng Ang Probinsiyano ni Coco Martin ang Encantadia sa rating.

This is an indication that Marian has lost her magic. True, she may have multitude of fans, but many of them were not watching her. It’s either they don’t have time to watch her shows or they just like her and nothing else. Meron naming ganoong fans, eh. ‘Yung tipong gusto ka lang nila pero hindi nila pinapanod ang shows mo. How sad!!!
