KINUWESTIYON kahapon sa Korte Suprema ng isang youth group ang ligalidad ng mga ordinansa na nagpapatupad ng curfew sa mga menor-de-edad.
Sa 39-pahinang petisyon, hiniling ng Samahan ng Progresibong Kabataan (SPARK), sa pamamagitan ng kanilang abogadong si Atty. Jesus Falcis III, na maglabas ng temporary restraining order (TRO) laban sa curfew.
Nais din ng SPARK na ideklara ng SC na ideklara ang pagpapatupad ng curfew sa Maynila, Quezon City at Navotas na unconstitutional.
“Some young adults look like they are below 18 or what could be called as baby-faced they will be tagged as violators,” sabi ng petisyon.
