NATUTUWA kami sa ginawa ni Anne Curtis na hindi pag-e-endorse ng kahit na sinong kandidato para sa darating na election.

Sabi ni Anne, susuportahan naman niya ang candidate basta naniniwala siya rito. Pero tila hanggang doon lang ‘yon at hindi naman niya tipong ie-endorse ito. Actually, gamit na gamit ang mga artista kapag election time. Sila kasi ang inaasahan na magbibigay ng malaking boto kaya naman sila kinukuha bilang endorser.

It’s also a fact na as endorser ng isang kandidato ay milyon ang ibinabayad sa mga artista. That’s their essence as endorser. Kaya nga sikat ang kinukuha ng mga kandidato ay dahil gusto nilang makatiyak ng panalo. Kaya nga kami, we don’t vote because we can’t see anybody who is WORTH VOTING FOR. Voting, for us, is a RIGHT we can live without.

They are learned and educated but what have they done to really uplift the plight of the poor? Wala naman, ‘di ba? It is because they never EXPERIENCED how it is to be MAHIRAP. So, what they do is nagpapanggap lang silang maka-mahirap. How can that be possible when they were born rich? Doesn’t make sense, ‘di ba? Also, parang anti-poor ang mga batas natin like the sin tax bill. Hindi naman affected ang mayayaman kahit na magtaas ng presyo ang sigarilyo at alak dahil meron silang pambili. Sila lang ang makaka-afford na gumawa no’n. Parang ang lumalabas tuloy ang mahirap ay hindi puwedeng magbisyo.
