Militanteng grupo na KMP binatikos si Poe kaugnay ng posisyon sa coco levy

BINATIKOS ng militanteng grupo na Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) si Sen. Grace Poe matapos namang baliktarin ang katotohanan kaugnay ng naging parte ni San Miguel Corporation chair at Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) founder Eduardo “Danding” Cojuangco Jr. sa kontrobersiyal na coco levy fund.

Ito’y matapos ipagtanggol ni Poe si Cojuangco sa pagsasabing wala na siyang kontrol sa coco levy.

“Small coconut farmers are totally disgusted over Poe’s defense of Cojuangco. Small coconut farmers are still contesting Cojuangco’s 20 percent shares in SMC acquired using the coco levy funds,” sabi ni KMP secretary general Antonio Flores.

Matatandaang inendorso ng NPC ang kandidatura nina Poe at Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

“After securing the NPC endorsement, Poe is now turning into a mouthpiece of the biggest plunderer of the coco levy fund. Mahuhulog sa puno ng niyog ang sinumang magsasaka sa niyugan na makakarinig ng pahayag ni Poe,” dagdag pa ni Flores.

Idinagdag ni Flores na imbes na isulong ang hustisya para sa milyong-milyong mga maliliit na magsasaka ng niyog, inabswelto pa ni Poe si Cojuangco.

“Poe’s position on the coco levy fund is adding insult to the injury suffered by small coconut farmers during the Marcos regime,” dagdag ni Flores. Inquirer
