LOVI, MYLENE ‘NADAYA’ sa MMFF awards night?

wilma doesntHindi si Wilma Doesnt ang dapat nanalong Best Supporting Actress

Deserving si Nora Aunor na Best Actress sa “Thy Womb”.

In support of our star of the upcoming Never Say Goodbye soap ng TV5 starring MMFF 2012 Best Actress winner Nora and Best Supporting Actor winner Cesar Montano, watch ng buong creative team ng nasabing soap ang “Thy Womb” sa Robinsons Galleria after our meeting last Friday.

Hindi puno ang sinehan pero good enough ang crowd for a 5 p.m. showing so nagkaroon talaga ng curiosity why the Superstar got the Best Actress award last Thursday.

Playing a Badjao first wife to Bembol Roco who is very good din, there is no usual Nora acting style here.

Wala rin siyang memorable line or even a memorable hand/stare acting.

What you get is a normal style of acting that really blended well in the story and in the location shot superbly and deservingly won the Best Cinematography din. Nora owned the movie and so she deserved that award.

So as of this writing, isa na lang ang hindi namin napapanood na movie of the eight entries and so we wonder why Lovi Poe playing the second wife did not win the Best Supporting Actress.

Para sa amin, dalawa lang ang karapat-dapat na ma-nominate at manalo sa Best Supporting Actress, si Lovi dito at si Mylene Dizon sa “Sosy Problems” but both didn’t win.

Not that we are questioning the winner pero very light acting ang nanalo.

Lovi’s quiet acting and Mylene’s loud and brash style could have made it too.
