Mahistrado ng SC pina-iinhibit sa DQ ni Poe
PINAPA-IINHIBIT si Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen sa deliberasyon ng mga petisyon para madiskwalipika si Sen. Grace Poe sa pagtakbo sa pagkapangulo sa Mayo.
Sa kanyang pitong pahinang petisyon, iginiit ni Atty. Estrella Elamparo na ipinakita ni Justice Leonen ang kanyang pagkiling sa isinagawang oral argument noong Martes.
Idinagdag ni Elamparo na batay sa pahayag ni Leonen, inamin niya na lumaki rin siyang walang tatay.
“This ‘shared’ experience with petitioner and the overflowing expression of empathy that came with his very candid disclosure blatantly show that the Honorable Justice has lost his impartiality and is now determined to champion the cause of petitioner,” sabi ni Elamparo.
Isa si Elamparo sa mga naghain ng petisyon para ikansela ang certificate of candidacy (COC) ni Poe matapos kuwestiyunin ang kanyang residency at pagiging naturan-born citizen.
