Ricky, Epi, Raymond, Kaye, Bangs butata sa Cinema 1 awards
Nagmistulang David and Goliath ang nangyari sa 2015 Cinema One Originals Award’s Night last Sunday sa Dolphy Theater ng ABS-CBN. Wagi kasi ang mga baguhan at umuwing luhaan ang mga ve-teran.
Ang Best Actor awardee na si Dino Pastrano, for “Baka Siguro Yata” ay masasabing newbie compared to his co-nominees Raymond Bagatsing, Ricky Davao and Zaijian Jaranilla.
Ang Best Actress winner na si Therese Malvar naman ay bagets na bagets kung ikukumpara kina Bangs Garcia, Bing Pimentel and Kaye Abad. Si Therese ay naging controversial nang talunin niya si Superstar Nora Aunor as Best Actress para sa kauna-unahang CineFilipino Film Festival.
Nagwagi siya for “Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita”. Ang isa pang tumalo sa mga veterans na sina Epy Quizon at Ricky Davao ay ang child actor na si Bor Lentejas na nagwaging Best Supporting Actor for “Hamog”.
Ang “Manang Biring” ang itinanghal na Best Film sa nasabing festival hosted by Matteo Guidicelli, Alessandra de Rossi and Jasmine Curtis-Smith with Erik Santos, Klarisse, Daryl Ong, Darren Espanto as guest performers.
