KRIS Aquino never fails to draw negative comments whenever she posts on social media.
Her recent post in which she said, “I don’t endorse @flypal but I want to commend them via this post- we flew the A330 going to Hawaii & the A340 on our way home” merited flak for her.
“Both times the flights were so comfortable & the planes smelled fresh & clean, the crew both in the airport (NAIA & HNL) & on the plane were so pleasant, and most of all the special PAL Arroz Caldo was Pinoy comfort food at its BEST! Keep up the good work to all those working for our flag carrier!” she added.
But that didn’t sit well with some of her followers. Many felt it was very insensitive of her to post such message when in fact nahaharap sa malaking issue ang airport ngayon dahil sa tanim-bala controversy.
Siyempre nga naman daw, hindi siya magkakaroon ng aberya during her flight simply because she is a presidential sister.
One guy even noted that tourists are now scared na lumapag sa Manila airport for fear na mataniman sila ng bala.
Why would they do that? OFWs will not do that. Does it make sense na magdadala ka ng bala sa iyong bagahe gayong you are already in the twilight of your life? Or in the case of a female choir singer, bakit naman siya magdadala ng bala sa bansang pupuntahan niya for competition?
We feel na halos lahat sila ay biktima lang and the sad thing is that the government is not taking enough measure para mahuli ang airport staff na nagtatanim ng bala.
Isn’t that extortion?
